Firefighters used a sledgehammer to rescue a puppy trapped inside a wall in Southern California.
Faye the dog found herself behind a wall of a Garden Grove home after crawling through a small plumbing access door on May 12, according to the Orange County Fire Authority.
Video shows officials hammer a hole in the wall wide enough for Faye to exit on her own.
Faye is then seen peeking her head out as she awaits the courage to escape.
Rescuers motivate Faye to escape hole
Once the hole is wide enough, the officials motivate Faye to step out of the wall by whistling and snapping.
"Come on, girl," one rescuer says.
After some initial hesitation, Faye makes her way out with ease.
"This pup was pretty happy to see the firefighters’ friendly faces and reunite with loved ones. and, according to the family, Faye is probably already planning her next bit of mischief," the firefighters wrote.
